About Us  

CleanWayCleanWay® Environmental Partners evolved through an agreement with River City Environmental in Portland, Oregon. With annual rainfall over 36" in the Pacific Northwest, the company was continually finding opportunities to help customers manage and clean their stormwater runoff.

River City Environmental offers a broad range of environmental services, including catch basin and bio-swale cleaning. This business led to the idea for stormwater treatment products, and the owner, Steve McInnis began working on the first version in 1995. One of the original prototypes is still in use today. He continued to develop the product and was granted the original patent in 2001, when he began offering it to local customers. In 2005, water quality expert Matthew Moulton joined as a partner to focus on product development and regulatory compliance.

CleanWay has continued to grow and develop stormwater treatment products to serve an expanding customer base across the country.

The team at CleanWay is ready to help you meet your water quality goals, with rugged products that are easy to install and maintain, backed by a program of ongoing support.

Partnership Program

With the CleanWay Partnership Program, we work with service providers in your area to install and regularly maintain your CleanWay stormwater treatment products. Every CleanWay Partner has properly trained personnel, with the right equipment and necessary disposal permits.
